At Ciolo, we’ve focused on all-natural products from the start.
Founded in August, 2006 by partners Mallory Kates and Curtis Tellam, Ciolo is based on a few simple principles: Use terrific ingredients; create fresh, interesting and boldly flavored specialty products; and do so in a vibrant and team oriented environment.
We began with 16 products in 26 Whole Foods in the Rocky Mountain area and Texas. Today, Ciolo can be found in six regions of the country and in over 150 Whole Foods stores. Thousands of customers enjoy our products every day, using them for everything from appetizers at a dinner party to enhancements of every day snacks and meals. Serving Ciolo transforms the predictable into the unexpectedly delicious.
In addition to our busy retail enterprise, Ciolo also has a thriving Food Service division.
In 2010, the Sartori Company, the award winning artisanal cheese manufacturer, acquired Ciolo. Ciolo’s manufacturing plant is still based in Boulder County, Colorado where it began.
